Happy New Year Everyone!
Slow progress through the winter, Nothing much accomplished outdoors.
I’m working on building LED lighting for my 6 shelf seed propagation rack, and I’ll have some pictures of that as soon as it’s done.
I should have my electrician here this weekend to help me figure out what I’ll need to get things hooked up in the green houses and the shed extension so I can get moving forward for this spring.
If you’re keeping up with the progress, Thank you for checking back from time to time.
I see the site has been getting a lot of visits, and thats great.
Keep checking back and you can subscribe to us on youtube

Everything has been harvested for a while now.
The greenhouses are now covered with plastic but lots of work to get done in them, to include adding doors and re-installing vent inlets etc. (Pictures of progress to come soon)
Shed extension is being sided today, and then we’ll get started on organizing the inside for propagation of seeds and transplanting of plants starting in February.
If our local, and your interested in either buying plants for your garden next year,
OR being one of our first CSA members with a Huge first time discount, please contact us.
Soon we’ll be asking everyone what they’d like to receive as far as vegetables and Herbs, so we know what we’ll need to plan on growing for the year.
It’s been a long time coming, but it IS coming along.
Thanks,

It’s been a while, but things have been put on the back burners for a long while.
This year, things are moving forward…
*The Vegetable Garden has grown 3 fold.
*There is a dedicated Berry and Grape only Area
*Green houses WILL be finished this year and in full affect operational,
but probably not producing till spring 2016
*Insulated Shed extension will be fully insulated and ready for seed propagation
this year and in full operation.
*New Fruit trees were planted last year in a dedicated orchard area,
Big things are going to happen, and we’re excited!

We’ve spend the last few days trying to get the framework/hoops in place for the 2 new greenhouses.
Their coming along nicely, but it’s just a matter of time….mostly trying to make enough to get through.
The days being shorter and other engagements have really slowed up progress, but we continue to push forward.
Also, this week we’ll need to get the small Coop build for the chickens, nothing fancy, just something to get them through
the winter until will can build something a lot nicer next spring.
Thanks for everyone support and well wishes, It means a lot to us here.

A great but LONNNGGG day yesterday.
Started our 4.5 hour Trip to the Milwaukee Area starting at 7am.
Lunch in Milwaukee at Atheno’s Resturant down the road from Growing Power’s Main site. ( I didn’t know they have growing sites all over Milwaukee)
What a Beautiful days weather for the trip.
1pm Tour at Growing Power, Thanks Andre for the Great Tour.
We learned a lot about the many great things their doing there and throughout the Milwaukee area with Urban Farming, Aquaponics, Vermiculture, Making healthy food available and affordable to all and much more….
After the tour (and a t-shirt purchase, along with a book and video on Vermicuture) we then Headed over to Hunger Task Force Farm for their Tour at 5:30pm
Around 7:45pm we then headed home to the Lettuce Grow It Farm where we finally arrived about 12:30am this morning. It was a Great Day of Learning spent with my Bestest Bratty Friend, Wife, and all around inspirational Life Partner Adrian.
I would share video, but none is allowed at Growing Power, but you can look them up on Youtube where there is plenty shared.
I was in such awe the whole day I personally forgot to take pictures, but Adrian took plenty and I’ll share them once I get them from her.

We haven’t had time to update the site with information due to the load of work trying to get ready for fall/winter.
Pretty much swamped between working on the PoleShed extension, Pulling the last of the plants, Tilling up the long garden areas, Building Heating system for the green houses, and working at the shop.
This coming week, we are visiting the Growing Power Green houses out in Milwaukee, as well as the Hunger Task Force Farm.
I had a little time last night to work on the website here, and should have a photogallery up soon.
I’d like to get a poll function setup, so that we can get some input from you all as well.
Thanks for your continued support, and I hope that you are al doing well.
